Toronto needs a leader who knows how to tackle congestion, get unnecessary taxes out of your way and is committed to building vibrant communities.

I'm proud to have served on Toronto's city council since 2003, fighting for transit and protecting taxpayers. As Councillor and TTC chair, I delivered real results for the people of Toronto.

Now, I'm running to be the next Mayor of Toronto.

To succeed, Toronto needs a leader with a plan and a track record of success. I understand how city council works, and I know how to build bridges between other levels of government. My plans are affordable, feasible and fully funded.

Stintz Welcomes Support of Her Mayoral Opponents for Her Proposals

TORONTO (July 24, 2014) — In response to both David Soknacki and Olivia Chow's announcements on Wednesday, mayoral candidate Karen Stintz has released the following statement:  "They say that imitation is the highest form of flattery. If that's the case, then I am flattered beyond words by my opponents in the mayoral race. In March, I proposed a hybrid option for redeveloping the Gardiner Expressway, an idea that John Tory later adopted. Yesterday, David Soknacki and Olivia Chow did the same: Mr. Soknacki endorsed my plan to establish a transportation czar, and Ms. Chow borrowed my idea to make city green spaces more accessible to the community.
